Nice Côte d'Azur Airport Guide

Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) is the French Riviera's gateway and Monaco's airport — 20 kilometres from the Principality on the Promenade des Anglais, with two terminals, 127 direct destinations and a 7-minute helicopter link to Monaco.

The Terminals at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport

Two terminals side by side: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 — extended in April 2026 with new check-in and boarding routes. A free shuttle and a free tram link connect them, and both hold over forty boutiques and restaurants.

Getting to Nice Airport

Tram lines 2 and B stop at the terminals (city centre under 30 minutes), TER trains reach Monaco every 15 minutes, official fixed-rate taxis run to Monaco for €95, and BLADE/MONACAIR helicopters cover the coast in 7 minutes.

Airport Services & Amenities

Free Wi-Fi, information desk and Lost & Found, the PIT Stage performance space, sensory room, nursing rooms, animal relief areas, outdoor terraces, curbside check-in and passenger amenities across the terminal and concourses.

About Nice Côte d'Azur Airport

Nice has been an aviation city since 1929, and the airport grew with the Riviera into the two-terminal complex of today — with a Business Aviation Terminal since 2010 and the Terminal 2 extension opened in April 2026. In 1969 an experimental hovercraft even linked the airport with Monaco.

Always check that your ticket reads NCE (ICAO: LFMN): Monaco's own heliport is not a commercial airport, so every Monaco flight arrives at Nice.
